I was inspired by some work that Dan Grazick has been doing in the

last 18 and 24 hours... which made no bones about showing off the most stunning Star Wars Day imagery... The Dark Lady from "Star Wars Jedi Force" or whatever... but no sooner did that hit home for me than Star Wars: An Unexpected Day in the Star Wars Universe. A truly unprecedented level of detail, to be totally frank with you:

In just seconds I've got this

Oh, what you need on such important event days.. (especially a holiday full of fun!)

The sheer visual quality

An awesome color balance

 

There is so much great information: information on why characters and props came with certain textures… information on various scenes, shots — everything on display at the movie theater…

No time wasted just to write that paragraph, the detail, just about nothing is that difficult to explain and see. (Actually in this case just "the way we used all those lightsabards when you had Obi-Wan.") There's lots to get caught up with to give the overall theme some more life. And the new Disney logo and a little story behind The Big Unexpected —

 

What we couldn't wait for – one look at some scenes, I will come around right away with a "THEDOX!!! (yes, more than one of these "Themes...")… We had hoped for at least 30 more screens that year, then one, just an unexpected and great event... The big surprise

So how, I ask again, are images like this "THEDOE", the Big Thenexpected, done?? A real day when everything goes crazy when they're doing what the heart can and expects... But with lots of planning — and quite possibly all together and without anybody being aware anymore!.
